How to start a Podcast and earn from it: Steven Bartlett

Image
This week I listened to the podcast Diary of a CEO by Steven Bartlett... I try to listen to his podcast regularly as it is one of the biggest business podcasts now... But surprisingly he started doing this podcast regularly only 10 months ago... And it is now one of the most famous among them... In this podcast, he shared how his podcast grown so fast within this small time... All the plans and techniques needed for podcasts to succeed... This is mainly for the people who want to start a podcast and also for the people who want to do any kind of audience building... In this podcast, Steven shared how this podcast is going to make 1.2 million this year... As per their business analytics... Consistency - Steven told that consistency is the biggest thing in any work... He started the podcast in a room and purely for his own interest. But when he decided he wants to grow the podcast he recorded more episodes... But it was never consistent... He sometimes recorded and sometimes didn't.....

The Rosie Project (Graeme Simsion)

In this quarantine, I finally had an idea to open a Goodreads account. Maybe it will motivate me to read more books. Although I had an account in the past which I never updated and didn't found quite interesting. The books I read I always forget. Because I never wrote any notes from the book I read or make any list. So when I try to remember the books I have read in the last 23 years I only can remember the Harry Potter series. Maybe it will be great to hold Goodreads accountable for my reading habits. While scrolling, Goodreads suggested to me a novel named "The Rosie Project", which I later find out is recommended by Bill Gates. So it is potentially a good book to start my new journey of consciously reading books... πŸ˜‘ πŸ˜‘ Summary The Rosie Project is an Australian novel by Graeme Simsion. It is published in the year 2013 (and I apparently never heard of it). It is a story of a man with autism spectrum disorder trying to find a wife for himself. Being socially awkward, i...

Why do I write in a blog when I just write so bad

Image
When I thought about starting a blog first thing that came to my mind is that I don't have money, so I have to search for free website ideas and came to this, which is not a website but a blog. but it is still pretty fine until I don't have any income, when I will have one, I will pay for a good website. the second thing that came into my mind was in am just the worst at writing. When it comes to writing stuff in English I will manage it on exams and stuff but it is nowhere enough to write a blog post. My writing is still a very big embarrassment for me. Whenever I post something here, I reread the post so much and at last, I get tired and just post it. πŸ˜–πŸ˜– Spellings are complete blunders for me. I never remembered the spelling of some very big words and while writing some words come to my mind which I use in writing which feels good, but is some big words, most of the time I write it wrong and I need to correct it afterwards. Thinking that I am not worthy of writing stuff onl...

Things that I want to do and I don't want to do

I recently watched a video of Ali Abdaal where he said that if he can go back to his past self and start again, he will definitely do more journaling because as "the journey before the destination" matters the most, it will always make me remember the things I went through. So I think why not? I am doing journaling for some time now, not regularly, but I do have some phases in my life, where I do profuse journaling and then I just stop doing that again after some time I start. So I am gonna make this a blog thing, so I will have to post something about my life here anyway. It will motivate me to do more journaling. πŸ˜…πŸ˜… People are not watching these blogs so much, so I think nobody will notice that I am posting something here every week, so, there is no fear of judgment. And also why in the world would somebody would like to read about my feelings and my life? So it is pretty fine. πŸ˜‘πŸ˜‘ Carrier Crisis So today is day 1 of journaling in this blog thingy. I started this blog fo...

Naval Ravikant: The Angel Philosopher (Highlights and Notes Part 1)

Image
Naval Ravikant Hey everybody. I listen to various podcasts regularly and also do take a lot of notes. So when starting the blog I have already decided that I want to share the wisdom of various people in various podcasts with you in short points. Today I am writing about an episode of The Knowledge Project (by Shane Parrish) with Naval Ravikant. Naval Ravikant is an Indian American entrepreneur and investor. As the podcast is very long (i.e. 2 hours), I am only sharing half of the points today. And I will share the rest in the next blog. These points influenced me heavily, I hope that they will inspire you too. The link to the podcast is mentioned below, if you want you can check it out.  What does your typical day look like? you don't need to have a typical day. You should not be bothered about in which place you are working unless you are not getting any work done. That main thing is that you need to do what you want to do and being productive and being happy. The thought ...
