What is Enneagram?
In the two years of the covid 19 outbreak, I had so much time in hand, so I came across a lot of stuff which I didn’t know or find out about before.. One among them is enneagram.. I came to know about various personality types and the tests to find out about them.. Enneagram is one of the processes to know about our personality, and work stuff out with ourselves..
There are 9 types of personality in an enneagram.. But the most important factor is, that an enneagram doesn’t put you in only one type, it gives a type and other two personality traits you show, when you are triggered or pushed, we behave differently, it also explains that.. We also get two wings for each type, which explains our proper personality..
But the main important thing is, after all these, they give you 3 types of people in each type, as people carry and work for separate pursuit.. And hee lied that main importance of enneagram, as it gives us the motive why we work or do anything..
In this age and time, people are stressed all the time, as they work hard and had to complete deadlines.. As a result of this fast lifestyle, mental health is not in the best situation, so people try to cope by talking with therapists.. This is a very good option to take care of yourself… But for those people who don’t have mental health facilities or don’t think that they need them urgently, they try to heal themselves by themself..
Spirituality has given this term as self-realisation.. Although coming from an actual spiritual perspective, the term is now used for mental peace and happiness, which can be achieved by working on ourselves.. To know ourselves, we can use many tools, which are also used by psychologists and professionals.. Enneagram is one among them.. Studying enneagram helps us understand ourself, to understand the programming that we are and how we work is very important to adjust we ourself and our thoughts.. Enneagram can help people know about themself quite enough..
In the end, enneagram also gives us solutions as to how to make better of what we already have, and how to change bad things or patterns and make use of it in a good way…
Btw my enneagram is 7-8…
