FATED THRONE: ZODIAC ACADEMY
Recently I finished the 6th book in the Zodiac Academy series, known as FATED THRONE.. It took me a long time to read this book, not because this book was bad by any means, but rather the opposite is true.. It took me time, bcz I was a little busy.. And this book is also really big, more than 900 pages...
It wouldn't be wrong to say that this book is my favorite book in the series, and it is a book where so many things happened from the beginning of the book..
I personally like eventful books.. I am not too much of a fan of books expressing emotions and feelings through pages and pages of description and repetition.. Events are what make a book interesting for me..
But the books in Zodiac Academy are painfully uneventful in the beginning, and all the stuff starts to happen in the middle of the book, and at the end, there are a lot of stuff happening and it feels like an overload of things happening..
So usually when I start any of the other books in the series, I feel a little bit demotivated, bcz I have to read through nearly 500 pages of nothing happening, and then there would be something interesting.. But in this book, it was better in that regard..
Things happened from the beginning of this book.. So many movements... Lionel Acrux becoming the king, Tory coming back to the academy, and then Lance Orion coming out of prison, also the way Tory was getting better slowly in the academy from the beginning.. It made the book reading experience better for me... As I could see progress, not just some usual fluff..
The ending was even more immaculate.... It was something I was wanting for a long time.. I was waiting for the Vegas to come up with a strong front, with a group, with some people who may want to fight Lionel Acrux other than them.. And it happened in the book..
There was the beginning of a war, and we could see at the end.. First time ever, people united together to support Vegas and to fight as rebels in the kingdom..
Also we can see the example of love, by Darius Acrux and the way he sacrificed his life for the life of Vega twins, mainly for Tory Vega, the love of his life...
We even see that more and more people are accepting Vegas as the true queens of the kingdom, and even Lance Orion kneels in front of Darcy Vega...
All in all, this book was eventful, and it was my favorite book by far..
I give this book a whopping 4.5 ⭐
