The Aquatic Ape Hypothesis

Image
Many schools in the USA still don’t teach evolution in school curricula, some others teach them but mention “controversial” as a label to the theory. Controversies are always there on human origin. It is a concept of debate between religion and science. Was adam and eve was the origin of humans and their sin gives us the life that we are living today or the origin was a total accident? through any sudden changes in evolution human being came into existence through homo Erectus, homo Habilis and finally homo sapience. There are many controversial theories of human evolution as all are the examples that we got from the shreds of evidence from the past. One of the theories is the Aquatic ape theory. What is an Aquatic ape?  Aquatic Ape is the conspiracy theory about the origin of humans or apes from aquatic brothers of ours. This theory talks about the aquatic evolution of our ancestors and how apes evolved in aquatic situations. The theory proposes that as the early ancestors ...

Ageing, Immortality And The Fear Of God

Image
Ageing is the process of getting older... And by getting older biologically our organs mature and then they start to decay which results in death in old age... the average age of death is 72.6 years now... Ageing and death is the most common and accepted way of dying in the world... About 150000 people die each day worldwide, among which 2/3 is due to old age, which is called a normal death as it is expected for the old people to die... But why is this the case?? Why people must die?? There are various potentials for studies on ageing and how to slow the ageing process in humans to make us live longer... But surprisingly there is very little research going on ageing... People are doing so much research on cancer, very few compared to ageing die in Cancer (1600/Day)... Then why people are not trying to increase their lifespan and save the people and their loved ones from dying... Complete Breakdown of Religion Immortality will completely abolish the institution of religion from its root...

Consistency - Steven told that consistency is the biggest thing in any work... He started the podcast in a room and purely for his own interest. The Rosie Project (Graeme Simsion)

Image
In this quarantine, I finally had an idea to open a Goodreads account. Maybe it will motivate me to read more books. Although I had an account in the past which I never updated and didn't found quite interesting. The books I read I always forget. Because I never wrote any notes from the book I read or make any list. So when I try to remember the books I have read in the last 23 years I only can remember the Harry Potter series. Maybe it will be great to hold Goodreads accountable for my reading habits. While scrolling, Goodreads suggested to me a novel named "The Rosie Project", which I later find out is recommended by Bill Gates. So it is potentially a good book to start my new journey of consciously reading books... 😑 😑 Summary The Rosie Project is an Australian novel by Graeme Simsion. It is published in the year 2013 (and I apparently never heard of it). It is a story of a man with autism spectrum disorder trying to find a wife for himself. Being socially awkward, i...

Why do I write in a blog when I just write so bad

Image
When I thought about starting a blog first thing that came to my mind is that I don't have money, so I have to search for free website ideas and came to this, which is not a website but a blog. but it is still pretty fine until I don't have any income, when I will have one, I will pay for a good website. the second thing that came into my mind was in am just the worst at writing. When it comes to writing stuff in English I will manage it on exams and stuff but it is nowhere enough to write a blog post. My writing is still a very big embarrassment for me. Whenever I post something here, I reread the post so much and at last, I get tired and just post it. 😖😖 Spellings are complete blunders for me. I never remembered the spelling of some very big words and while writing some words come to my mind which I use in writing which feels good, but is some big words, most of the time I write it wrong and I need to correct it afterwards. Thinking that I am not worthy of writing stuff onl...

Things that I want to do and I don't want to do

Image
I recently watched a video of Ali Abdaal where he said that if he can go back to his past self and start again, he will definitely do more journaling because as "the journey before the destination" matters the most, it will always make me remember the things I went through. So I think why not? I am doing journaling for some time now, not regularly, but I do have some phases in my life, where I do profuse journaling and then I just stop doing that again after some time I start. So I am gonna make this a blog thing, so I will have to post something about my life here anyway. It will motivate me to do more journaling. 😅😅 People are not watching these blogs so much, so I think nobody will notice that I am posting something here every week, so, there is no fear of judgment. And also why in the world would somebody would like to read about my feelings and my life? So it is pretty fine. 😑😑 Carrier Crisis So today is day 1 of journaling in this blog thingy. I started this blog fo...

Naval Ravikant: The Angel Philosopher (Highlights and Notes Part 1)

Image
Naval Ravikant Hey everybody. I listen to various podcasts regularly and also do take a lot of notes. So when starting the blog I have already decided that I want to share the wisdom of various people in various podcasts with you in short points. Today I am writing about an episode of The Knowledge Project (by Shane Parrish) with Naval Ravikant. Naval Ravikant is an Indian American entrepreneur and investor. As the podcast is very long (i.e. 2 hours), I am only sharing half of the points today. And I will share the rest in the next blog. These points influenced me heavily, I hope that they will inspire you too. The link to the podcast is mentioned below, if you want you can check it out.  What does your typical day look like? you don't need to have a typical day. You should not be bothered about in which place you are working unless you are not getting any work done. That main thing is that you need to do what you want to do and being productive and being happy. The thought ...

Stoicism

Image
Stoicism is created to help people live their best possible lives. Stoicism is a school of philosophy that comes from ancient Greece and Rome in the early 3rd century, BC.  Stoicism is created in the early stage of civilisation, which means at that time the thought process of people was different. People didn’t want to have a luxury or aesthetic life, all they wanted was to sustain themselves from all the potentials dangers. For this uncertainty, people used stoicism to calm their minds and make their souls ascend.  But in present days, stoicism is again becoming very important for all of us. To help us get rid of anxiety, stress, fear and depression, practising Stoicism is one of the greatest ways to live. Nowadays, businessmen, politicians other people are using stoicism as their life path to answer the questions like, “ what do we want from life?”, “ what will happen to me after the covid situation”? Overall stoicism helps us to live a satisfying life by maximising our happ...
